Tom Hill
MANAGING PARTNER
Tom Hill has 20-plus years of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) experience including providing/structuring debt and equity for over 50 middle-market transactions totaling $1 Billion in value. Tom’s experience includes work as a principal for large corporates making acquisitions, as a consultant to Fortune 500 companies acquiring middle market firms, as a direct lender to transactions for senior debt and unitranche transactions, and as a middle market investment banker for both sell-side and buy-side engagements. He has managed the entire acquisition process for multiple clients as well as arranged both debt and equity financing. Tom also serves as Executive Vice President of Metropolitan Bank & Trust.
Tom holds a Master of Science Degree in Business from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and Political Science from Towson University. He also is a registered and licensed investment banker. Tom lives in Marina Del Rey, California.
Dave Sheridan
OPERATING PARTNER
Dave Sheridan’s experience includes being an Operating Partner with Iron Forge Capital and with Palo Duro Capital and has 25 years of leadership experience within global industrial companies. Dave spent most of his career at Valspar Coatings, starting in 1996 at their Baltimore facility as a process engineer for their powder coatings, electronic molding compounds and mastics product lines, acquired from the Farboil Company. In 2001, Dave became the Plant Manager of Baltimore and went on to manage Valspar facilities in Pittsburgh, PA, Birmingham, AL and Garland, TX. Dave has held several executive roles at Valspar including Director of Project Management, Director of Operations, Market Manager for their PET Barrier business and Business Director for their Beer and Beverage Can Coatings business. In 2018, Dave left Valspar to start his own firm, Sheridan Management Group, LLC, which provides management consulting and engineering services to Industrial clients and private equity firms. The sectors where Mr. Sheridan has been operating with his consulting firm include Aerospace, light manufacturing, value-added distribution and related industries.
